Talk to any cloth diapers mom and they all agree that the biggest obstacle is how to cloth diaper at night and not wake up in a puddle urine. Yes, it'll take a few trials and errors. But this does not mean that you must resort to the use of disposable diapers.
Disposable Diapers drain, Ardennes, excrete crystals, dioxins transfer and does not allow the skin to breathe. They are not the answer "easy". Prefolds as inserts pocket: Prefolds are highly absorbent and are perfect for trifolding and inserting in a pocket. A prefold can be wrapped around a doubler, as Joeybunz hemp insert or Happy Heiny Stuffin Insert, or two prefolds can be wrapped together. You can use any layer of the pocket, but many moms have had great success with Fuzzi Bunz and Bum Genius diapers at night. There are a couple of layers of one the most efficient size of the market and have attracted the attention of all little cloth diapers families.
Fitted Diapers: Baby Beehind (BBH), Very Baby Simply Nights (VBSN), Bamboo and Velvet Goodmama tops list of most recommended fitted to use the night. Fitted diapers are an option for the night due to their large absorbent materials, the ability to add doublers, and breathability. Successful fitted night usually contain hemp and / or velvet for their ability to absorb large quantities of liquid. These fitted you can wear a doubling in insert the plug and still have the soft material touching the skin of your baby. Where as pocket diapers contain a water-proof layer of PUL (polyurethane laminate), fitted diapers have not and need coverage. A lack of PUL is what allows a clean diaper to "breathe". Wool: The brightest star in the sky when it comes to having dry sheets is wool. Wool is very breathable, comfortable, and can absorb 30 times its weight in moisture before feeling damp to the touch. Wool keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer. I live in the hot state Texas and wool worked wonderfully last summer. Wool is also anti-bacterial properties because of the lanolin. Lanolin contains fatty acids that react with urea as the basis for creating the salt and water. Urea is a component of urine that would normally cause odors. Wool should be washed and re-lanolized every two weeks. It's a great idea to put a Soaker wool or wool long on any night which system you choose for that extra protection. You can choose hand warmers, knitted wool, recycled wool sweaters, wool or lock your safety net the night.
Getting enough sleep at night is enough to worry about. Do not add the disturbing also on wet leaves. You may have to experiment with a couple of different layers before finding what works for your baby, but worth it!
